We require a minimum of four guests to fly and can accommodate up to eight, depending on total weight. Why the minimum? Ballooning is a shared experience, lifting off together is part of the magic, and it helps us operate safely and sustainably.

Flights often fill quickly, so we recommend booking in advance. If the flight you’re eyeing is full or doesn’t meet the guest minimum, reach out! We’ll do everything we can to get you in the sky. While we can’t cancel other guests to shift your reservation, we’re happy to work with you on alternate dates or keep you on our standby list.

  • Please plan to arrive at Canyonlands Field Airport, just 16 miles north of Moab. Once you get there, you’ll be guided on where to park, and from that point on—we’ve got you. We’ll take care of transportation to the launch site so you can focus on what you came for: an unforgettable experience.

    We ask that you arrive 5–10 minutes early to get settled, complete a bit of paperwork, and ease into your day. That small window helps us make sure everything runs smoothly—so your adventure can, too.

  • Safety starts with honesty! Yours and ours.

    If you weigh over 225 pounds, we kindly ask that you call when booking your flight. This won’t prevent you from flying, but it does help us plan responsibly. Hot air balloons are limited by how much weight they can safely carry, and your safety is our top priority.

    To ensure we don’t exceed that limit, passengers over 225 pounds will need to reserve an additional spot. You’ll be weighed prior to the flight, so please provide your accurate weight when booking. If the weight given is significantly off and we can’t safely accommodate you, you may be asked to stay on the ground that day.

    We don’t want that to happen. We want you to fly, and we’ll make it work if we plan ahead together.

  • We know life happens, and we’re here to work with you.

    Because demand is high and seats are limited, we kindly ask that you cancel at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund (minus a $30 booking fee per guest, which covers transaction costs). This window gives us time to offer your spot to someone else who’s eager to fly.

    If you cancel within 72 hours or don’t show up for your flight, unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a refund.

    If we need to cancel due to weather or other safety concerns, you’ll receive a full refund.

    Gift certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase, and we encourage you to book early to secure your preferred time.

  • Flying with us is open to almost everyone, but to keep you safe, we ask that you disclose any recent surgeries, injuries, or health conditions when booking. This allows us to prepare properly and support your needs during the flight.

    We also ask for your accurate weight, as it’s essential for flight balance and required for safety regulations.

    When you’re honest with us, we can give you the safest, most enjoyable experience possible.

  • The cost of $325 per person covers your flight, transportation to the launch site, and a return shuttle from the landing site back to the airport.

    While gratuities aren’t expected, they’re always appreciated. Our pilot and crew work hard behind the scenes to make your experience safe, seamless, and unforgettable.

  • Dress for adventure! Comfort and safety come first.

    We recommend wearing closed-toe or hiking shoes, just in case light hiking is needed during your experience.

    Please dress for the season:

    - Layers and warm clothing if it’s cold

    - Light, breathable clothes in the summer

    When you’re dressed right, you can focus fully on the magic of the flight.

  • Bring what you need, but travel light in the sky.

    You’re welcome to bring personal items with you, but they’ll need to stay in the vehicle during the flight. This is for your safety, and to make sure nothing important gets lost along the way.

    We’ll keep your belongings safe on the ground so you can stay fully present in the air.

  • We’ll provide water for you during your adventure. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks, but please be responsible and take all your trash with you.

    Our vehicles and the desert are not trash cans. Together, we can protect this incredible environment for everyone to enjoy.

  • We encourage you to bring your own camera to document this special experience. For comfort and space during the flight, please leave your camera bag in the vehicle, which will be waiting for you at the landing site.

    That way, you can fly free while still having everything you need close by.
